if you are planning on leaving your printer idle for a few days, and for up to 30 days
. Utilizing maintenance cartridges should preserve your printhead such that when you come back from vacation, the printhead condition/quality will be about the same as when you had left it before you went on vacation.

NOTE: This maintenance cartridge does not CLEAN your printhead, nor does it revive damaged printheads. It is a maintenance solution - that keeps your printheads lubricated and preserves them in the condition that they are already in. Before using this maintenance cartridge you should ensure that your printheads are working properly with no clogs or gaps on nozzle tests. If your printheads are not clean and in good working condition, you need to clean them with CLEANING CARTRIDGES (or with cleaning cycles using your EDIBLE INK CARTRIDGES), and get your printhead into good working condition before inserting Maintenance Cartridges.

This cartridge is filled with a specialized, food grade, maintenance solution and is intended to be used on a printer that is dedicated for edible ink printing.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT MIX regular inks with edible inks. Inkedibles edible inks (food coloring) are intended to be used only in brand new compatible Inkedibles refillable ink cartridges that are filled only with Inkedibles edible ink. Never put edible ink inside a cartridge (or inside a printer) that has had regular ink running through it because contamination can occur. Be careful not to order a regular ink cartridge for use with edible printing! Only the items shown in the INKEDIBLES section or described as such, are intended for food decoration purposes.
